This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
Nickel Plate Road no. 765 is one of the largest operating steam locomotives remaining in the United States. Built by Lima Locomotive Works in 1944, the Berkshire class 2-8-4 locomotive spent most of its operating career hauling Nickel Plate Road's famous fast freights out of Bellevue, Ohio. Today, 765 is owned by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society and operates excursion trains throughout the Midwest during the summer months.
Here, Nickel Plate Road Berkshire #765 brings an excursion train through Ohio's Cuyahoga Valley National Park during the annual Steam in the Valley event.

Today, I am enjoying photography as a side endeavor while I pursue a degree in civil engineering. I enjoy producing architectural, nature, and landscape images, especially while hiking and traveling. Many of my images are from trips taken to many parts of the United States. I have galleries featuring photographs of many locations and a wide variety of subjects. Any would look great and provide an eye catching conversation piece for homes, offices, or...
