About Matthew Chapman
My main photography subjects are nature and railroads. I also dabble in urban settings and street photography.
By day, I'm a project manager for a pharmaceutical company in St. Louis, Missouri.
My other main hobby is music. I'm a classically-trained pianist and organist and an avid choral singer. I have sung with the Bach Society of St. Louis, the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, and the St. Louis Chamber Chorus.
After years, decades even, of thinking I was not athletically-inclined, I took up running back in 2012. I really enjoy it and am amazed at my progress. I ran my first-ever half marathon in 2014 and I would like to eventually be able to run a full marathon. It wasn't that long ago that I would have never even considered doing that.
I live in suburban St. Louis with my wife, Mary.
